Welcome one and all

I believe showing respect for oneself, respect for others and respect for one’s environment is the sum total of respect for the Universe.

My name is Natalie Lisa Tucker and I am a qualified Transpersonal Art Therapist. Born in the land of the long white cloud (Aotearoa), I have resided in Australia for the last 32 years and now embrace this country as my home.

My Intention

My intention is to support and empower ALL members of our community through inclusion – not exclusion. I aim to create vital life skills for all beings through the platform of Transpersonal Art Therapy by supporting creative expression to reduce and prevent hardships in one’s life. I do this through the principles of healing through equality, freedom through spirituality and artistic creativity.

My Lived Experience

My personal journey to become a Transpersonal Art Therapist began as a way to deal with the grief of losing a child. I discovered the therapeutic value of Chinese brush painting as a meditative practice combined with Acceptance Commitment Therapy. That supported me to make the passionate decision to become a Transpersonal Art Therapist. Through the creative expression of art, I discovered a way to transmute my grief into self-actualisation. I am also currently employed as a part-time peer support worker which I am incredibly passionate about.

My Practice

My Transpersonal Art Therapy practice covers the use of modalities:

  • Natural environmental stewardship through the principles of permaculture
  • Multicultural foundations
  • Meditative and visualisation practice
  • Sensory exploration
  • Reflective practice
  • Body awareness
